Digitally Made (CAD / CAM) Screw Implant Crowns and Bridges – Ti-Base Crowns

Image

That type of implant crowns is so far the most modern method in dentistry. They are made digitally using CAD/CAM systems. For a production of this type crowns special standard superstructures are being used, called Ti-base. They are put beneath the implants and scanned by a special intraoral or laboratory scanner. They can be made of cermets, zirconium or lithium disilicate (E max). They fit perfectly to the superstructure due to the fact that it is cut on CAD/CAM machines.

That type of crown is again with a hole in the chewing surface (for the back teeth) or the back(invisible) surface on your front teeth. The crowns are cemented to the titanium base (Ti-base) outside the mouth using a high strength cements afterwhich the model is removed and cleaned in order to eliminate any cement left on it. Our next step is just to screw the implant back in the mouth and hide access point to the photopolymer screw.

Production time:  from 4-6 hours (CAD/CAM) to 10 days(laboratory) with 1 to 3 sessions
